It seems that if you change a value too much within one attempt, the game may crash (such as giving yourself 1 Billion Rare Crystals all at once). This seemed to be confirmed when I read on Reddit that this has been happening to other people and with other video games. But does it work well? From my own experience with Cheat Engine, when changing a value within Stellaris (such as giving myself resources), the game occasionally crashes.
